Researches say that Brown is the color that people like the least. Not much of a surprise, right? However, in the past seasons we are seeing lots of brown clothing both at runways and stores. 

In fact, the other day I was talking to an emerging designer that has betted on brown as one of the colors for the past Fall Winter 2019/2020, but she revealed that it didn’t really sell well... 

Still… do not give up just yet!!! There’s hope:

I have seen beautiful tones of brown in the Spring 2020 and once again in the Fall 2020 collections that are being shown at the moment.

Now, here’s my professional advice as a personal stylist is: Brown is considered a neutral color. 

So all you need to do is find a good shade for your skin tone, specially if you are buying a coat or a shirt, because both will be close to your face. 

Plus, it is very easy to match with other colors. In fact, it looks beautiful with:

  • powder blue, 

  • turquoise, 

  • different shades of pink

  • lavender… 

Wanna look super chic? Don’t be afraid of pairing it with black! 

Ready for some brown in your closet? Go ahead and choose one of those colors I just mentioned for a shirt and wear them with brown pants.
