Color Analysis Is a Liberation - Not a Limitation

When people hear the words Color Analysis, many immediately think of rules:
“You can’t wear this color.”
“You should avoid that shade.”

But if you’ve worked with me, or even followed me for a while, you know that this couldn’t be further from my approach.

Color Analysis has evolved so much over the years. What once felt rigid and prescriptive is now a tool for self-knowledge, personal expression, and confidence. Just like I would never tell a petite woman she can’t wear a midi skirt (that’s very old-school styling!), I would never use Color Analysis to limit you.

It’s the opposite.

Color Analysis Helps You Understand Yourself - Not Restrict Yourself

Here’s a personal example: I don’t have black or white in my color palette.

And here’s the secret… I love black dresses and white shirts. I wear them a lot.

Why?

Because when you understand why a color isn’t your very best, you also learn how to make it work beautifully:

  • through the right makeup

  • with earrings or a necklace that balances the undertone

  • with thoughtful combinations

  • by adjusting contrast

That’s exactly what I teach my clients.

Color Analysis isn’t about perfection; it’s about awareness. A tool you can use, not a rule you must follow.

What You Gain From a Modern Color Analysis

A great Color Analysis gives you:

  • Freedom: To wear what you love, with more strategy and confidence.

  • Clarity: Why you feel amazing in some colors… and tired or washed out in others.

  • Ease: Shopping becomes faster. Getting dressed becomes simpler. You save time, money, and frustration.

  • Harmony: You understand how your undertone, intensity, and contrast work together, and how colors can support or overwhelm your natural beauty.

  • Confidence, because when you understand the “why” behind your choices, you stop second-guessing yourself.

This is what I want for every client: not a box full of rules, but a sense of empowerment.

A Modern Approach to Color

My approach is open-minded, educational, and highly personalized. I teach you:

  • Why certain colors bring harmony to your face

  • How to wear the colors you love (even if they aren’t in your palette)

  • How contrast affects your overall appearance

  • How to combine colors in ways that fit your personal style

  • How your palette supports makeup, hair color, and accessories

Color becomes a tool of self-expression, not a restriction.
