How to style sweater dresses

Thinking about wearing something cozy, comfortable, easy and versatile?

Then what you're looking for is a sweater dress! What else would you like to be dressed in this Fall anyway?

Important note: it's also a really stylish piece. After all, we definitely don't want to spend this entire season in sweatpants that resemble pajamas, right?

A sweater dress is almost like a blank canvas. There are so many ways to play around with it.

Here are some hints on how to look - even more - amazing when you wear one:

SWEATER DRESS + BELT

You can put on a belt or, as a matter of fact, more than one belt! I have done this before and it worked out great.

You can wear a wider belt. I've talked about belts here before.

Another cool styling idea is to wear everything monochromatic with the belt in a different color.

SWEATER DRESS + LEATHER JACKET

Add a leather jacket. Mixing it with a different texture is extremely interesting.

You can also try bundling up with a wool coat when temps get cooler.

Extra tip: There is no problem if the coat is shorter than the dress.

SWEATER DRESS + HIGH KNEE BOOTS

Pair it with high knee boots: it's classic and super chic. Heels or not, that's completely up to you.

SWEATER DRESS + ACCESSORIES

The simpler the sweater dress, the more options you have to style it. I love how a bracelet looks over long sleeves knit.

More styling ideas: why don't you add layered necklaces or an elegant chunk necklace?

What about a scarf? It's always a simple yet refined accessory!

I bet you already have a sweater dress in your wardrobe! Try some of these styling suggestions mentioned above and let me know how you feel.
