Learn how to have a wardrobe full of timeless pieces
When I assess my clients' styles, I usually ask them to create a mood board with inspirational ideas and outfits. As a coincidence, they often include photos of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. These pictures are more than 22 years old now! My clients get amazed at how they could wear exactly what she was wearing at that time.
That's what we call timeless wardrobe pieces. They never get old and are worth investing our money in. It's the type of clothing or accessory that we will be able to wear for years to come. All we need is to run some updates here and there.
Please note I'm not telling you to go ahead and buy all the pieces I added to my board. You might not like to wear jeans or live in a place where a trench coat isn't useful - just like when I lived in Rio de Janeiro years ago. These pictures are only to inspire you to find YOUR timeless pieces. It's a great way of thinking before doing your spring cleaning.
