Mixing Feminine and Masculine Elements
One of the trends that stood out during the Spring 2026 Fashion Weeks was the mix of feminine and masculine elements in outfits. It’s not a new idea, but it’s one that keeps evolving, and we’ll probably see a lot of it next season.

Think of a very feminine midi skirt paired with a button-down shirt or even a sweatshirt with power shoulders. Or a delicate, flowy dress worn with a tailored vest — an element borrowed from menswear. And then there are ties, they’ve been everywhere in street style lately.
If men are almost never wearing ties anymore, why shouldn’t we? It all depends on your personal style.
I probably wouldn’t wear one around my neck, but I might borrow one from my husband’s wardrobe to try as a belt and see if I like it.

What are your thoughts on these ideas? Would you try them your way?
P.S. These are looks from the Fashion Week runways, and that’s my job — to translate these ideas into real life for each client.
