NYFW Spring 2021 is happening

Here it is: New York Fashion Week has started.

It might be quite different, with socially distant and digital shows, but it still is a big and impactful time of the year!

I follow Fashion Week events mainly for two reasons:

  1. First of all, I need to say that my clients aren't typically fashionistas. As a matter of fact, many of them have no interest in this field or even hate to go shopping. However, these are women who want to look current, confident and true to their personal style. So I need to know what the latest trends are in order to help them achieve their goals.

  2. The second reason is for educational purposes. I teach classes about trends and personal shopping to personal stylists and other professionals, therefore it's my job to stay up to date with what is going on in the runways and stores around the world.

NYFW Spring 2021 is happening presently - it started September 11 and ends on September 16.

Although it doesn't have its usual buzz, the shows are being held either virtually or with a very small number of guests.

Fashion is a creative industry and it will always find its way to keep going - despite the crisis.

I chose three dresses that belong to new collections to represent what women have in their wishlist today:

In my opinion, women want to buy clothes that they will be able to wear at the present as well as in years to come.

There is no sense in buying something we will wear for just one season. These pieces will be in stores only next Spring but, to be honest, I am sure we would be happy to wear them right away.

I also added dresses that can be found in the market today that would fit this idea of timeless outfits. Take a look at the posts HERE, HERE and HERE.

If you want to have a curated wardrobe but struggle on how to do it, send me an email at hello@marciacrivorot.com. We can work in-person or virtually, however you feel safer and more comfortable!
