What to do with clothes and accessories you haven't worn for some time?

Have you ever heard that if you haven't worn a piece in six months, you should donate or sell it? We usually read this in magazines or hear from fashion gurus on social media.

However, I don't think this is true.

Living in New York, Winter clothes are worn in the cold months. Sometimes, I don't wear a coat or gloves for almost one year. Does it mean I should get rid of them? Not at all.

This also applies to products we bought because we loved them (and still do) but never remembered to pick them. Nonetheless, if it is an item for a special occasion, or we need the right product to match, and these clothes aren't in your closet right now, we must take action.

My advice is to create new outfits with different color combinations! You should try more than one color combination because we need to maximize our wardrobe. The color wheel is a great tool to help you with this task.

Have you heard about the color wheel? When I do a color analysis, my client receives one of them. It's practical and fun.
