Are you watching Bridgerton?

Netflix's newest show brings a perfect distraction in times of pandemic. Besides, Bridgerton is a delight if you like Fashion.

Ellen Mirojnick is the show's costume designer who is working with 238 artisans to create the Regency period outfits according to the story concept.

You have probably noticed how the color palette changes from one family to another. Amazing, isn't it?

BRIDGERTON AND SPRING 2021

If you are really into the fashion world, you have probably noticed how Bridgerton's female characters would love the Spring 2021 collection:

Empire waist, puff sleeves, delicate floral prints, and embroideries.

Some of them we have been seeing in the stores for a couple of seasons.

Fashion always reflects and represents the spirit of the times.

This trend is a form of escapism, like Bridgerton, very much necessary nowadays, don't you agree?

IS THIS TREND FOR EVERYONE?

Now, you might be wondering if this new trend is for you, right?

In general, it's very feminine and romantic, for sure. Although some puff sleeves we are seeing are more "dramatic" than romantic, images of the Spring collection shows are more romantic, as you can see in the photos.

Also, short puff sleeves are a bit girly, so consider it when trying them on.

In addition, the fabric is important. If it's a floral print, it will accentuate the romantic style.

Bridgerton's dresses have a looser fit, which means comfort, especially on hot summer days. Women are really appreciating it nowadays. By the way, no corsets here, thankfully!

EMPIRE WAIST AND PUFF SLEEVES ARE FOR BUSTY WOMEN?

Yesterday I got the following question: Is empire waist good for busty women?

Both empire waist and short puff sleeves accentuate the bust area.

However, I don't believe in just following rules. You need to consider your personal style and image goals. Maybe you could try longer puff sleeves and a V-neck instead.

Are you watching the series? How do you like this trend?
