How I Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (July 2026)
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here, and it's one of the few sales where you can buy new Fall pieces at discounted prices before the season even begins.
People often ask me if I think it's worth shopping. My answer is: yes, but with a strategy.
I see this sale as a good opportunity to replace wardrobe staples or invest in pieces you already know you'll wear. Jeans, underwear, beauty products, and everyday basics are often my first stop.
Then, I look at transitional pieces for late Summer and Fall. But only if they fill a real gap in my wardrobe. A sale isn't the time to buy something simply because it's a good price. The best purchases are the ones that fit your personal style, your lifestyle, and work well with what you already own.
Before adding anything to your cart, ask yourself a few questions:
Is this something I was already looking for?
Can I think of at least three ways to wear it?
Does it work with the clothes I already own?
Would I still want it if it weren't on sale?
A lower price doesn't automatically make something a good purchase. The goal isn't to buy more; it's to buy better.
