Peach Fuzz: Pantone Color of the Year 2024

Every year in December, Pantone announces the color of the following year. They typically select a color - sometimes two colors - that reflects current trends, cultural influences, and the overall mood of the times.

Peach Fuzz is a warm and cozy shade of peach that brings a feeling of softness and tenderness, communicating a message of compassion and empathy. Like the color or not, we have no doubts the color is connected with the Zeitgeist (or spirit of the time) we live in now.

It is not necessarily the color of the year that becomes a fashion trend. However, if you love the color, here are some ideas on how to wear it:

  • Monochromatic outfit: wearing different shades and textures of Peach Fuzz creates a sophisticated look that's both modern and timeless.

  • Pairing with neutrals: Peach Fuzz looks beautiful with neutrals like ivory, beige, and soft grays.

  • Accessorize: Gold or rose gold accents can amplify the warmth of the color, while a statement piece like a handbag or scarf can provide a tasteful focal point.

  • Undertone: Peach Fuzz, like other peaches, is warm. If your complexion has a cool undertone, you can wear pants or a skirt in peach.

If you don't know the best colors for your complexion but think a color analysis is an old method from the 80s that gives you a list of dos and don'ts, let me tell you: color analysis has evolved! It's all about giving you knowledge and helping you to shop strategically and multiply your wardrobe.
