Silver, yellow, or rosé gold: how to know what looks better on you

Every woman has a personal preference for jewelry. Some like gold, others silver, or rosé gold. Some love them all.

But we have a type of metal that enhances our beauty.

So how do we figure out what works for us?

If you have a warm undertone, you will probably look better in golden metal, since it has lots of yellow on it.

If you have a cool undertone, silver or white gold should suit your skin best.

When I run a color analysis, I also consider your eyes and hair color.

However, it's worth mentioning that many individuals are included in neutral cool or neutral warm color palettes. This is amazing because they can pick both silver or yellow gold accessories.

If you want to find out by yourself, bear in mind that your results might be altered by artificial lights and the clothes you are wearing.

If you aren't sure why it is good to have a Color Analysis, there are many advantages. Here are a few, concerning accessories:

  • You will know exactly what to invest in if you decide to buy precious jewelry.

  • I consider your personal taste and will advise you on how to wear metal colors that you like but aren't suitable for you. For instance, I look much better on yellow gold. But I have some silver items from Mexico or other places I lived before that I still want to style. So when I wear them, I have some tricks to make them work. One tip is to balance things out with makeup.

  • Colorful jewelry is good to compensate for clothes that aren't flattering for us. In fact, everything close to our face makes a difference to enhance our natural beauty!

  • The finishing plays an important role, too. If you have a soft complexion, you probably look better on matte pieces. If you have a clear complexion, a polished finishing will suit you.

  • There are other colors of metals out there. Have you ever heard of gunmetal? It's darker and looks especially good on women with a deep and cool complexion. On the other hand, bronze (copper) looks better on women with a warm and deep complexion.

The reason I have more options in yellow gold jewelry is because it’s predominant in the stores right now.

Having your Color Analysis done helps you maximize your wardrobe, shop better, and feel more confident.
