The Silent Signals of Confidence in Your Wardrobe
Recently, I had a photo session, a black & white shoot I mentioned in my latest newsletter. When I started thinking about what to wear, not once did I feel the need to buy something new just because I’d be sharing the photos on social media.
Instead, I focused on what I already love and wear often, pieces that truly represent me.
Since the photos would be in black and white, I didn’t worry about color. I thought about contrast and texture instead. I chose a mix of soft tops and jackets and structured blazers, because each one communicates something different. I like them all, I just choose depending on the vibe I want for the day.
For the bottoms, I went with tailored pants, but I couldn’t leave out jeans, because they’re such a big part of my everyday style.
To me, this is what confidence in your wardrobe looks like: knowing your clothes, your style, and yourself so well that you don’t feel pressured to buy something new at the last minute.
When I work with clients, that’s always the goal, helping you learn about yourself: your colors, your style, and how to feel confident in what you already own.
