Why I Never Skip the Men's Section
When I shop, I never skip the men's section at a few stores.
This blazer is a perfect example. I found it at Uniqlo, after it had already sold out online. It's a knit blazer that looks much more expensive than it is, and after sizing down, the fit worked perfectly for me.
I love pieces like this because they are comfortable, polished, and practical. It's the kind of blazer I can wear while working from home, meeting a client, or packing for a trip.
This blazer also reminded me of two simple styling tips:
First, be careful how you store your knitwear. Hanging knit pieces for long periods can create bumps on the shoulders and change their shape. Folding them is usually a better option.
Second, don't be afraid to mix warm and cool colors. Many people think they need to stay within one color family, but some of the most interesting outfits come from unexpected combinations. The key is finding a balance that feels right to you.
Sometimes the best style discoveries happen when we look beyond the obvious places. Whether it's trying a different section of the store or experimenting with a new color combination, staying open to possibilities can lead to some of your favorite pieces.
