A client recently told me she had thought about hiring a personal stylist many times, but kept postponing it while she tried to lose weight. She thought it would make more sense to wait until she reached her goal weight before investing in her wardrobe.
But at some point, she asked herself: Why should I wait to feel good about how I look and what I wear? And that's when she contacted me.
I know this is something many women experience, especially when their bodies are changing. You might think you'll look different in a few months, or that it doesn't make sense to spend money on clothes that might not fit you later.
I understand. And I agree that you don't need to invest in an entirely new wardrobe while your body is changing. But that doesn't mean you have to put your personal style on hold.
There are ways to make your wardrobe work for you during this process.
We can start by looking at what you already own, finding new outfit combinations, identifying pieces that fit you comfortably now, and making a few thoughtful purchases if needed.
Sometimes, small changes in proportions, fit, or styling can make a big difference.
And no, you don't have to spend the next few months wearing only leggings and oversized tops! There are clothing options that work well when your weight is changing. Knowing your best colors and adding accessories to your outfits can also make a difference.
You deserve to feel good in your clothes today, not only when you reach a certain number on the scale.
Personal styling isn't about achieving a particular body shape. It's about understanding your body, your personal style, and your lifestyle, and finding clothes that work for you.
If you've been postponing working with a stylist because your body is changing, I'd love to chat. You can schedule a Discovery Call (LINK) with me to learn how we could work together.
