Brooches Are Back! Modern Ways to Wear Them

I have written about brooches before (here and here). If you have been following me for a while, or if you are a client, you know how much I have always loved brooches!

Years ago, we really had to look for them in vintage and second-hand stores. But in recent years, brooches have made a comeback and become a fashion trend.

During the past Fashion Weeks, we saw brooches used as a powerful styling tool, not only on the runways but also worn by guests attending the shows.

If you think wearing a brooch on a blazer lapel looks too traditional, here are some ideas to inspire you to wear them differently.

Personally, I love using a brooch to transform an oversized shirt or dress, creating a more fitted and interesting silhouette. And I also love how one large brooch can completely change an outfit, adding personality to even the simplest look.

Of course, if a statement brooch feels like too much, there are plenty of smaller, more delicate options.

The good news? Today, you can find brooches in many stores, from fashion retailers to vintage and second-hand shops.

Happy brooch hunting!
