Fall 2026 Trends: Animal Print

Animal print might be a Fall classic, but some years it becomes a big trend. And that's exactly what's happening this year!

We're seeing different animal prints, from cheetah to snake and zebra, in a variety of colors and styles.

Here are some images from the Fall 2026 Fashion Week collections, along with examples of what we're seeing in stores right now.

A few tips on how to wear animal print:

1. One piece is enough

If you're wearing animal-print shoes, there's no need to match them with an animal-print bag.

2. Start small

If you prefer a subtle touch, an animal-print belt is a great option.

3. Think of texture ‍

Animal print adds visual texture to an outfit and is a wonderful way to make a simple, neutral look more interesting.

4. Pay attention to colors and contrast

In general, cheetah prints tend to have warmer tones, while snake prints are often cooler. You can also find softer, lower-contrast cheetah prints if you prefer something more subtle. If high contrast suits you, a black-and-white zebra print can be a beautiful choice.

5. Shop your closet first!

If you like animal print, you probably already own something you can wear now. And if you're looking for something new, second-hand stores are full of animal-print pieces.

My advice

Think of animal print as a neutral with texture. It's versatile, interesting, and easy to incorporate into your wardrobe.

But as always, your personal style comes first. You don't need to wear a trend just because it's everywhere!
