I’ve said before that skirts are making a comeback after several seasons when pants were the dominant silhouette.

Besides the midi lengths we’ve been seeing for a while, knee-length skirts are coming back. I’m also noticing an interesting way to style them: skirts worn with longer shirts, creating a different proportion than the tucked-in looks we are used to seeing.
Of course, this doesn’t mean pants are going anywhere. It simply gives us another silhouette to play with.
And Fashion Week inspiration doesn’t have to mean shopping for something new. One of my style goals for this Fall is to wear more skirts and experiment with the ones I already have in my closet.
Maybe it’s time to take another look at yours, too.
